Working Principle of Air Shower
The core function of the air shower is to use high-speed clean air flow to blow off the contaminants adhering to the surface of personnel or materials entering the clean area. Its working process can be summarized as the following steps:
1.People or materials entering the air shower : After personnel or materials pass through the door of the air shower room and enter, the system will automatically detect and close both doors, creating a sealed clean area. To prevent cross-contamination between inside and outside, air shower rooms usually adopt a double-door interlocking control system to ensure that one door cannot be opened when the other is open.
2.The air shower begins to perform the air blowing and rinsing process: Once the door is closed, the HEPA or ULPA filters inside the air shower will purify the air to a high level of cleanliness. Then, through adjustable nozzles, a clean airflow of 20-25 m/s or even higher is sprayed out from all directions. These high-speed airflows can effectively blow off tiny particles that are adhered to the work clothes of personnel or the surfaces of materials.
3.Continuous filtration: During the air shower process, the pollutants that fall off will not accumulate indoors. The return air vents at the bottom of the air shower room will draw in these air streams carrying the pollutants, which will then undergo multi-stage purification through the primary, intermediate, and high-efficiency filters, creating a continuous internal circulation. This ensures that the air shower process itself does not generate new pollution.
4.People or materials leaving the air shower : After the preset blowing and humidifying time is completed, the fan at the outlet will automatically stop. Personnel or materials can enter the clean area through another door.
With the continuous advancement of technology and the promotion of industrial upgrading, the application of air shower rooms will become increasingly widespread in various fields such as electronics, medicine, food, and chemicals.
